IT Business Analyst – Unisys
Unisys is a global information technology company that specializes in providing industry-focused solutions integrated with leading-edge security to clients in the government, financial services and commercial markets. Unisys offerings include security solutions, advanced data analytics, cloud and infrastructure services, application services and application and server software.
My role as an IT Business Analyst was to look at end-user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Once I analyzed the data, I created insight report to present to different business leaders to come up with an action plan. I also ran SCCM reports to prioritize internal equipment upgrades and tested different operating systems for software update compatibility in preparation for a company-wide roll out.
I learned a lot about the corporate space during my time at Unisys. I also learned how to take the material we’ve learned in class and apply it to the working world (data analytics). My Unisys internship experience has made me a more prepared professional for my next internship or full-time position.
