Thinkful – Eventbrite Webinar
I participated in the Thinkful webinar on November 27th, 2018 from 12:30PM – 1:30PM. This webinar went over the myriad of approaches to get into the IT industry and start off a career in IT. The speaker went over her experiences and shared some tips she believes would\’ve been helpful with delving into a career in IT. These tips included utilizing various online resources as well as finding yourself a mentor to guide your success. I found this webinar to be very informative and I anticipate that I\’ll apply the lessons taught when searching for my next career move in IT. The speaker also discussed an online resources called \”Thankful\”, which takes students through courses with mentors and guarantees a job in IT upon the first few months of completion.
