Manager
June 2015 – June 2016
Upon a promotion to a management position at the center-city gym in June 2015, I refined my leadership skills by managing seven employees daily. I was responsible for the management of both the sales and maintenance teams. Prioritizing and executing multiple tasks is a required skill-set needed to manage a 90,000 square-foot facility in the central Philadelphia. In a facility of this caliber, sporadic maintenance and up-keep issues were a daily occurrence, consequently I developed a keen contingency self-protocol, “spur-of-the-moment” issues, if you will.
I exercised the following traits daily:
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a 90,000 sq ft facility.
- Managed maintenance and customer service staff.
- Conflict resolution.
- Enforcement of policies.
- Customer relationship management.
- Inventory responsibilities.
- Customer acquisition.
- Customer retention.
- Vendor Relations.
