Outside of academics, I spend a bulk of my time serving as a Director of Sponsorship at Temple University American Marketing Association.
My primary responsibility is to acquire and manage the inflow and the outflow of funds in order to support operations of our organization. Our team of 15 individuals on Executive Board works with brands such as Under Armour, Wawa, Harmelin Media, and DVIRC to increase funding which we had a success of doing by $3,000 in 1 year through various efforts such as raffle baskets, corporate sponsorship, and event execution.
One of my proudest moments as a Director was the time this past fall when I transformed the entire sponsorship program by creating training materials for my team members, create a plan of action, and recruiting new companies, with a goal of the initiative becoming a functional part of TU-AMA.
