I am from Yardley, PA and attended Pennsbury High School. I am a motivated and academically-focused student, eager to learn and gain more experience about the IT industry. Currently, I am working for the MIS Department as an Administrative Assistant in the MS in IT Auditing and Cyber Security and MS in Digital Innovation in Marketing programs. I also work on campus at the Center for the Advancement of Teaching as an Instructional Technology Consultant. Here, I assist professors who need help or advice incorporating technology into their classroom. Read more about both of these positions here.

Before Temple, I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for one year. I chose to transfer to Temple and become an MIS major to expose myself to a more challenging academic environment and prepare myself to be able to effect change in the organizations I work for. I am now interested in working in either risk advisory service or business technology consulting. I have accepted an internship for the summer of 2018 with Grant Thornton LLP in their Risk Advisory Services.

Please take a minute to explore the rest of my pages and my resume, or send me an email at Cara.Evans@temple.edu, if you are interested in learning more about myself and my career goals.
