Data Entry Associate
BDP International provides many logistical services to many big name companies throughout the world. I had the opportunity to intern their corporate office located in Philadelphia. I had a chance of working with people on the BASF account and assisted in their daily operations. The daily tasks I was assigned in doing was pulling reports either from SAP or from Cognos, order processing and ensuring the data that is processed is in regulation with U.S Customs. I would also coordinate with vendors to ensure a smooth transition of goods. One thing I was most excited overall was pulling queries using SQL in order to provide faster reports for everyone on the team. I do think having this internship relates my major because I do notice that technology plays a huge role in this company and I learned that you have to leverage all the technology you have at hand to make businesses and companies more efficient and successful.
