United States Marine Corps
(2012-2018)
Prior to attending to Temple University, I enlisted in the Marine Corps. The rank I held prior to leaving was Sergeant. Being in the Marines was something I didn’t know I need. Some skills and qualities that I’ve developed as a person while being in the Marines is taking initiative, holding yourself accountable in everything you do, perseverance, think critically, adapt & overcome. As a Sergeant of Marines, it was my duty to encompass all those skills/qualities I have developed and lead by example to my junior Marines. Those leadership qualities will not leave me and will most likely become useful in whatever I pursue with an MIS degree.

(2018 – Present)
I have recently interned at this company. They a Logistics Service Provider, whether it’d be clearing shipments through U.S Customs, to having third-parties pick up shipments for multiple accounts. I was a Data Entry Associate at the time. My tasks were to run certain reports for different operation sectors. With working with data, I’ve been introduced with how to use SQL, pulling reports from Cognos, and learn different aspects of SAP. By the end of the internship, I was offered a full-time position with the company that I gladly accepted.
