I was an employee of the Ephrata Rec Center for 5 years, from the beginning of the 2008 season to the end of the 2012 season. I was an employee of the Ephrata Rec Center but worked at a subsidiary pool in Denver, PA., called the Denver Community Pool. I worked for my first 3 seasons at the Denver Community Pool as a lifeguard and was then promoted to Assistant Manager of the Denver Community Pool for the 2011 season until my departure for Comcast Business. My time at the pool was challenging and rewarding in many ways. Responsibility of money, control over pool operations and patron safety were all extremely important skills that I learned and used during my time at the Denver Community Pool.
