My Interests and Activities
Here at Temple University, I have made a strong effort to become involved in the school and its activities. I am the treasurer and an active member of the Temple Women’s Club Volleyball Team. As a club team, we participate in 6-8 tournaments yearly, fundraise roughly $3,000 yearly, and volunteer around the Philadelphia area. This team has helped me to make lasting friends, and learn valuable leadership and communication skills. I also work as the Student Assistant to the Dean, where I perform administrative tasks and help to coordinate events. I have worked in this position for the past 4 years, and it has helped me get to know faculty and staff, and feel more at home in the Fox School.
I am also an active member of the Association for Information Systems, and I am currently participating in the mentorship program, where I mentor two underclassman students. AIS has given me the opportunity to get to know in my fellow MIS majors, which has made classes and extracurriculars in MIS and AIS that much more enjoyable.
