Philadelphia Mini Maker Faire
The Philadelphia Mini Maker Faire took place at the Pennovation Center in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday June 24th from 10am-6pm. By walking around and exploring the different exhibits I learned a lot about the new technologies that are being invented. Since I am a football player at Temple, I went to an exhibit about football helmets and how they plan to use new technologies to help detect the impact of a hit which can help with the process of recovering from a concussion. This activity relates to my coursework because MIS majors will constantly deal with new technology as it changes every single day, so being exposed to some of the newer projects that are out and/or in development today will help me in the future and further my knowledge and interest in technology.
