Fox IT Awards 2016
The Fox IT Awards are an awards ceremony that recognizes outstanding professionals and students for their work in partnering business or in the MIS department. There are awards that are given to students and business professionals that have achieved something great over the past year. This year Linda Dillman, CIO of QVC, won the Fox Information Technology Leader awards. Robert Moore, Co-Founder and CEO of RJMetrics won the Fox Information Technology Innovator Award for his work in the data field. Attending this event introduced me to a lot of people that I would have never known of otherwise. It also allowed me to meet many people both students in MIS and business professionals that are in the industry. It allows you to meet with your professors on a more casual level without the pressures of having to talk about class work.
