Financial Advisor Intern

I had the privilege to work as a Financial Advisor Intern for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the summer of 2017. In this role, I constructed several reports assessing the performance of the Financial Advisors in the Suburban Philadelphia Complex. These reports encapsulated everything from revenues to client satisfaction. My direct manager tasked me with several projects surrounding reporting throughout my internship. Using my previous MIS coursework – Digital Solutions Studio and Data Analytics – I took extensive notes and worked with my manager in an iterative process to get a clear picture of how he wanted the reports to be presented. I then sifted through the company database and analyzed meaningful data, which I then put into the reports to accurately represent the performance of Financial Advisors. Through my internship, I furthered my analytical skills and instilled confidence in myself that I have the tools to succeed in the Financial Services industry. This experience showed me how valuable my MIS coursework is. Because of my previous knowledge, I was able to excel in my first experience in the Financial Services Industry.
