Here, I am posing with my manager, promoting our Cinco de Mayo celebration.
There are two jobs that have shaped my work experience and have pushed me in the direction I’m going, career-wise. I first started working at the age of 17 with a company called Saladworks. Within less than a year, I was promoted to a shift runner, where I was given management responsibilities and trusted to run the store on my own for the shift.
My most recent job is being a server at Chili’s Grill and Bar. Here is where I learned more so on how a higher restaurant chain functions and focused more on customer satisfaction and multi-tasking. Within six months, I was promoted to trainer, opener, closer, and bartender. All of these responsibilities then emphasized my enjoying of management-style positions. It also helped me realize my love for helping people and making sure they’re happy.
