Temple’s Association for Information Systems (AIS) is a well managed student professional organization that provides Management Information Systems (MIS) majors amazing opportunities to grow as professionals, meet industry leaders, and expand our network.
I assume the role of the Director of Information Technology. My responsibilities include researching skills that would be beneficial to our members and bringing in industry professionals to introduce those topics to our members through interactive workshops. Also, I am responsible for updating and maintaining our associations website.
Drumline Member: 2014-2015
Temple’s Diamond Marching Band is a audition only group that allows for impressive personal, physical, social, and musical development. As a member, I spent roughly 15 hours a week practicing and performing at Temple events in Philadelphia, Happy Valley, and Connecticut.
Sustainability Chair: 2014-2015
Temple’s Residence Hall Association is an organization that works make students time in on campus housing a safe and enjoyable environment. As Sustainability Chair I was in charge of holding meetings, planning events in residence, and working with Temple’s Sustainability Office on events campus wide. While holding this position I planned and held a multitude of different events that helped to nurture a sense of community in my residence hall and worked to improve the constitution of the organization.
