PwC Internship
PwC is the worlds second largest professional services firm and one of the the big four accounting and auditing firms. The firm has three lines of service: Tax, Auditing and Assurance, and Advisory. PwC is headquartered in London, U.K.
I spent the Summer of 2017 interning with PwC’s Technology Consulting practice in Atlanta Georgia specializing in Data and Analytic Technology. During my internship I worked with a specialized team on implementing a Master Data Management system for a large retail client. I added value through gathering requirements and developing important client deliverables for a critical value drop. In my 8 weeks with the firm I utilized Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Projects:
- Elicited requirements, action items, and parking lot items from client workshops for traceability documents.
- Mapped entities and attributes from a logical data model to source data.
- Quality assurance for future state process mapping.
- Data standardization for data sets ranging between 17,000-50,000 rows
- Created client facing slide decks
