ITA Position Fall 2016 – Data Science with Laurel Miller
Data Science is a gen-ed course that fulfills the Science and Technology requirement for any Temple student. The class teaches students to use Tableau to analyze large data sets.
As the ITA, I attended class on days when the students were working in Tableau to help them work with the program. I also assisted students outside of class with extensive Tableau based projects. This position really taught me how to troubleshoot a complex program such as Tableau, and how to work with students of all levels and majors. I am excited to continue working in this capacity next semester!
