ITA Position Spring 2017 – Information Systems in Organizations with Mart Doyle
Information Systems in Organizations is a required Management of Information Systems course for all Temple University Fox School of Business students. The class teaches students about the types of information systems that are in organizations, including CRM, ERP, and SCM.
As the Information Technology Assistant, I was a resource for students who needed assistance with WordPress and Salesforce. I held help desk hours and coordinated one-on-one meetings. I evaluated assignments throughout the semester, and informed the professor of students who were struggling with handing in assignments through Box.
In this position, I have learned how to bridge the gap between a professor and his/her students. I have developed my ability to communicate, and help students in unfamiliar territory. I hope to advance to being the Diamond Peer Teacher for this course next semester.
