I’ve seen that people have jobs as copywriters but I was never exactly sure what they did. I felt that taking this LinkedIn Learning course helped me better understand the field and improved my content writing skills. It was a general description of what falls under copywriting including print, ads, websites, and even social media captions. The course also gave a guide to follow when creating copy and best practices. For coursework, what I learned can be used when I create mockup ads for my marketing classes and some of the general writing tips can help with all types of business writing for any future assignments. Professionally, I want to create a website so I can use these writing skills there or if I choose to find a career in copywriting.
