- AS 2503: Corporate Finance for Actuarial Science <Covers the derivative market portion of Exam FM>
Zilong’s Preparation for Exam FM, October 2013 sitting:
1. ASM Manual – for 2 month (first failure attempt) + 2 months (second successful attempt)
<Problems after each section are quite old, and are more difficult than current SOA standard.>
2. Coaching Actuaries – for 15 days before the second attempt.
<Very Helpful: helped me to better understand formula and learn faster ways to apply different formulas; a significant reason why I passed on the second attempt.>
3. Exam Score: unknown yet.

- ASM Exam FM Manual <For Exam FM, many upperclassmen recommended ASM over Actex.>
- Derivative Markets <Only slightly used as a reference; ASM Manual did a good job summarizing all you need to know about financial derivatives for Exam FM!>
- CL’s Handy Formula Sheet by Charles Lee <A good reference; but recommend to develop your own formula sheet!>
