Basketball
Basketball was integral in making me the person I am today. Playing Basketball from the ages eight to twenty three not only kept me healthy and in shape but also made me understand that with hard work a person can achieve anything. I learn how to be part of a team and how to give up my ego so the team will succeed, I also learned how to become a leader by being the captain of every team I played for. When I was fourteen years old I got recruited by the best basketball program in Israel, Blich Ramat Gan High School. Through out my teens, I played on my school’s team when it was considered the best team in the country. After I finished my senior year of high school, I received the “Number One School Athlete” award. After high school, I played professional basketball in the Israeli league, and I was part of the Israeli national team. When I returned to the United States, I started playing for Penn State D-III basketball team. After two years at Penn State, I decided to transfer to Temple University and give up basketball so I can pursue my business degree. Basketball is still a sport I love and I make sure to stay active by playing once a weak.
Cooking
One of my most favorite things in the world is to eat. Over the years, my mother has taught me how to cook traditional Sephardic dishes. On occasions when I would return home from basketball practice and my parents were still at work, I had to cook for myself. I won’t lie, I almost burned down the kitchen a couple of times. “The best way to learn is to do things with your own hands”.
Real Estate & Design
Over the past five years, I have gotten involved in my family’s real estate business. As I started getting more involved in the business, I started loving it the industry more and more. I am a very creative person, so my favorite part of the business is designing our properties from scratch. Since I have gotten involved, our properties are completely upgraded from how they once looked. To me, there is no better feeling than looking at a complete project and selling it. It makes me feel that other people respect and like the way I envisioned the property.
