What you learned: I learned many career tips from various speakers in careers that I hope to one day be in, like how to sharpen my skills and how to thrive in tech.
How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals: As a female MIS major, I found this conference to be extremely informative and inspiring. From this event, I was able to talk to women from around the world and get their perspectives on what it is like to work in a once male-dominated industry. These tips that I took away from the conference will aid me in my success in finding a job after graduating.
