Education
Nanyang Polytechnic
After the end of secondary school (1oth grade) in Singapore, I was presented with the option to either enter junior colleges (High Schools with a regular diploma) or Polytechnics (tertiary institute with an advanced diploma). I then decided to attend Nanyang Polytechnic in which I pursued an advanced diploma in Banking & Financial Services in NYP’s School of Business Management (SBM). As a result, i have learnt a great deal about the banking & finance industry all around the world. During that time, I also interned in a Financial Magazine publishing company called Pioneer’s & Leaders at the age of 18 and worked as an accounting bookkeeper within a store in the university. I was able to take university level classes related to Finance, Banking, accounting, IT & Web design, Statistics & law which surely prepped me well before arriving at Temple.
Temple University
I am currently enrolled in Temple’s Fox School of Business as a Management Information Systems (MIS) Major. My expected graduation date is set at December 2017. I am also an active member of two organization; the Association for Information Systems (AIS) & Model United Nations (UN). I have attended several meetings & talks with high profile individuals from top tier companies like JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, PwC & Lincoln Financial. I have also been part of professional development workshops and professional debate workshops. Currently interning at Lincoln Financial, a position I landed through the aid of FoxNet, I have learnt a lot already and hope to make a useful change for the firm. The education I get in Temple University, infused with my new corporate self is transforming me into ,what I believe, a professional in Business.
