MIS Diamond Peer Teacher
Job functions:
- Collaborate with course faculty to lecture 22 students on JavaScript materials
- Host weekly study sessions and office hours to prepare 100+ students for exams and assignments
- Consult students’ performance with the course professor to enhance learning strategies
As being an MIS Diamond Peer Teacher for the Web Application Development course, I have a chance to experience teaching, which I have always dreamt of, from a more advanced level. I get to think from a professor’s perspective of how to prepare and present the materials in the most understandable way. Moreover, I also have the opportunity to reinforce and deepen the knowledge that I learned from the course to benefit my career goals. Hence, this is one valuable experience that I am so grateful for.
