Volunteer work
Being that I was raised by two parents that believe in Hinduism, I too keep that faith. Whenever we have the opportunity, my family and I enjoy going to a place of worship, ours being a mandir. Every summer, I volunteer there as a camp counselor to kids enrolled in the camp for about one week. At camp I help teach the kids a little bit about Hindu culture and help organize a play which is performed on the last day. In addition we engage the kids in fun activities like pick up games of basketball, soccer and painting.
