Last semester I was fortunate enough to meet Nick Bayer CEO of Saxby’s at the headquarters. The visit was a great learning experience because Mr.Bayer motivated us to work harder and follow our goals in life. This is important to not only MIS major but also every student at Temple University. Listening to the success and hard work he had to put in had a tremendous effect on me.
I got a chance to participate in the 6th annual Temple University analytics challenge. I and my team worked hours in the project collecting the data, organizing it, and making a presentation that anyone could understand. I gained lots of experience while doing the challenge. I was able to use my skills in Excel, and Presentation. I also learned how to communicate with team members effectively.
I attended the Fox IT Career fair in fall and spring of 2018,2019,2020. This was a great experience because I got a chance to talk and interact with the companies that I would like to work for. I was able to get contact information for lots of recruiters. This career fair was very important because it was only for IT jobs which I am very interested in.
