UX/UI Design: Creating A Design System – Thinkful Webiniar
I attended this live webinar on January 16, 2023 at 6pm. This webinar was centered around explaining what a design system is and how to create one. A design system is similar to brand guidelines, outlining a consistent color scheme, fonts, logos, etc. across a company’s site(s). I was introduced to Figma in a previous Thinkful webinar, and this lecture went into much further detail on how to use Figma to its fullest potential. I followed along with the instructor using Figma to create a mockup design system of my own. As someone who doesn’t really plan things out as much as I should, I will definitely be using Figma to create a design palette for my future projects as I believe it will be beneficial overall in creating consistency in my work.
