What Tech Career is Right for Me? – Thinkful Webinar
I attended this Webinar on January 14, 2023. I chose this webinar because I am in my senior year and still really have no idea what I want to do in the tech field. This webinar discussed what would be the daily duties of several positions in the tech industry and how one would get a job in that position. I was especially interested in software developer roles. I enjoy coding things on my own so I was not super surprised. What this webinar did provide, however, was information on how to break into that field without having a CS of software engineering degree, by doing things such as coding bootcamps, leetcode, etc. to make yourself more appealing to employers. I now have somewhat of a plan on what I want to do post-graduation, so I am grateful I attended this webinar.
