Excel Data Analysis
The goal of this activity was to identify which users were being marked as “unsubscribed” from an IRISS email list incorrectly. By analyzing data across multiple excel spreadsheets and using various excel functions (Sort, VLOOKUP, etc.), I was able to identify the users that were unsubscribed incorrectly. I then sent a list of those names and email addresses to IRISS. In this activity I learned that excel spreadsheets for different organizations can be very messy and difficult to work with. (When compared to excel spreadsheets I have used only for learning in previous classes, activities etc.) I also learned new functions in excel, and how working with data across multiple spreadsheets is more challenging than working with only one spreadsheet.
