Extracurricular Breakdown

In addition to my academics, I have been extremely involved in extracurricular activities (even back since high school).

Kappa Sigma Fraternity

I pledged the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Omicron Upsilon Chapter in the Fall of 2010. I was elected Pledge Class President, and from Day 1 I have gone above and beyond for the betterment of the fraternity–raising thousands of dollars and contributing to countless philanthropies and community service events.

Positions I have held in this organization include House Manager, Risk Manager, Publications Chair, Public Relations Chair, Webmaster, and Assistant Recruitment Chair. From my dedication, I was able to reduce our electricity bills 10%, reduced risk in our chapter, write community relations plans for the university, and be awarded from our National Headquarters as “Champion of Recruitment”

Inter-Fraternity Council

Parallel with my experience with Kappa Sigma, I got involved with the Governing Board for all social fraternities on campus.

My most recent position as Parliamentarian (VP of Standards) involved the oversight of all risk and conduct for fraternities on campus. As chair of the conduct board, I was responsible for the conduct board cases involving fraternal sanctions.

Temple Student Government

 Director of IT / Web & Social Media – Administer the TSG Website (www.temple.edu/TSG) as well as the TSG Twitter and Facebook Pages. Acted as liason between Temple University Students and Administration to voice the technology needs of the students.

Main Campus Program Board

Creative Director & Webmaster – Administer the MCPB Website (www.temple.edu/MCPB) and Supervise student designers for event flyers and handbills.
