Fireside Flowers
I began working at Fireside Flowers in April 2009 as a sophomore in high school. I worked approximately 4-5 days a week during high school and after graduating I began working full-time during the holidays and the summer. I began as Back Stock/Floral Prep, processing flower shipments, washing buckets, sweeping, vacuuming, and any other odd jobs that designers or sales associates needed to be done. I was promoted to Sales Associate after 1 year and began assisting customers with purchases in the store and over the phone. I also began designing bouquets and basic arrangements and was heavily relied on during the holidays. Finally, I maintained the merchandise appearance by making sure all flowers and plants in the store were fresh and properly taken care of.
