Working in Computing and IT
On October 17, 2023, I attended an IT webinar called “Working in Computing and IT” and it was organized by the National Careers Service West Midlands. It provided a lot of valuable information in the world of computing and information technology. This webinar showed a very in-depth insight into the diverse career prospects available in the computing and IT field. They also covered various educational pathways, including college courses, online learning, and apprenticeships, aligning seamlessly with my career goals in Management Information Systems. It was clear that the knowledge and skills acquired through my school courses are directly relevant to this webinar, emphasizing the importance of staying updated in technology and the will to learn more. This experience has further motivated me to possibly pursue a career in computing and IT which can help me elevate my career goals in the future.
