Employee Benefits Analysis
The goals of this project were to find a company and do a thorough analysis on the benefit plan they offer to their employees. My partner and I chose to research Trinseo, a rubber company based out of Berwyn, Pennsylvania. We had to elicit information from multiple stakeholders of the benefit plan, from the administrators to the consultant they worked with in order to design the plan. The project had four parts: company information, overview of benefits, strategic decisions behind the benefit plan, and impact of the ACA. We elicited the information through an in person interview and email interviews afterwards. I learned a lot about strategic plan design and improved my analysis skills greatly.
