Fox IT Career Fair
I had a wonderful time at the Fox IT Career Fair this fall, where I was able to learn about the varied career paths an MIS major can go towards. Learning about and talking to the different companies in attendance gave me a great outlook on the different industries available to work in, and how MIS fits into these industries. All this industry knowledge helped me figure out that I prefer the analyst/consultant side of the industry rather than the development side. Being able to help clients leverage technology in their businesses and optimize their business processes is something I’m passionate about and hope to be able to do as a professional.
