Personal Achievments
My current GPA is a 3.9 and I have made the Dean’s List every semester that I have been enrolled in college. My high grades reflect my determination and work ethic. In high school I served as captain on two of the teams I was a member of. My captain-ship lasted for three years before graduating. During this time my leadership and communication skills developed and continued to grow. I have always been very passionate about giving back to my community and helping others. In 2012 I was a member of a team that organized and ran a learn-to-swim/ water safety class for low income, disabled children in my neighborhood. Not only was I apart of the development of this program, but I served as a main instructor in the classes. This project continues to grow and flourish and it is something I am very proud of.
In the Spring 2015 school term I was presented with two MIS based scholarships; The Fox IT Advisory Board Scholarship and the Bill and Jean Devaney Endowed Scholarship. The Fox IT Advisory Board Scholarship recognizes exceptional Management Information Systems (MIS) students who demonstrate exceptional potential achievement and accomplishment. Recipients are selected by the Fox IT advisory board. The Bill and Jean Devaney Endowed Scholarship is an award chosen by The Fox School of Business to recognize a MIS student.
In the Fall of 2015 I was awarded the SIM future leader award. This award recognizes the accomplishments of students in Information Systems. It recognizes not only academic achievement, but
demonstrated leadership potential.
