Career Objectives
My 10 week internship at ARAMARK gave me a comprehensive understanding of its global risk management strategy. I primarily supported the department’s Safety & Risk Control, Insurance, and Claims teams, and had the opportunity to work with the corporation’s brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Some of the projects I was involved in revolved around two casualty program renewals, certificates of insurance sent to clients, the analyzation of ARAMARK’s WC third-party administrator program, and strategy sessions for marine, liability, and environmental claims.
I particularly enjoy problem solving, networking, and providing customer service, and my time at ARAMARK helped me realized my interest in claims.I hope to spend my upcoming internship in a claims position, and believe it will help me determine if I would like to pursue a career with a broker, carrier, or third-party administrator.
