- As an Audit Risk Analyst in the Chubb Associate Program, I will learn how the Internal Audit Department plays a vital role in evaluating the design and effectiveness of control processes throughout the organization. I will be training to create a foundation for developing leadership competencies. I will execute operational and financial audits under supervision, use data analytical tools and innovative software to survey operations, document risks and related controls. I will evaluate the effectiveness of key controls.
- This job relates to my major because it involves analytical thinking and accounting responsibilities. Being an MIS major with a minor in accounting, I will be able to implement what I’ve learned during my time at Temple. I will know how to read financial statements, how to use certain software, how to effectively communicate, how to work in a team, etc.
