Network Operations Center Intern
As a Network Operations Center Intern, my main responsibilities included:
- Supported system maintenance for telecommunications company with $21.5M in annual revenue
- Utilized proprietary technical system to monitor faulty fiber links and troubleshoot sector transmitters for
40+ high-value corporate clients. - Communicated with external vendors to resolve connection issues and monitor
data usage, traffic flows, latency, and internet speed. - Assisted customers in changing administration portal and network credentials, using Calix Cloud software.
- Used command line code and Putty software to log into network towers to shut/unshut clients for failover
testing, and to bar/unbar clients who had outstanding accounts.
