Data Analytics for Business Professionals (2022)
Completing this LinkedIn certificate in May 2025, this has helped me gain a broader perspective and valuable skills that I would need in my position working in business analytics. In the module, I gained a better perspective on how to frame business questions in an analytics lens and how to interpret data using diagnotstic and predictive analytics. I learned how to use some useful Excel implementations for the data such as how to clean the data for analysis and how to aggregate data from multiple resources within the application. In terms of my courses, being able to analyze large datasets and get something meaningful insights out of it is useful in terms of my Statistics and Data Science minor classes and my other major of Economics. My current job right now focuses on procurement analysis, so this was definitely useful in that respect as I am able to apply more techniques in business analytics and just in general in the implementation of decision analysis models that can be applicable in fields within business analytics. I would overall say that this LinkedIn module was useful in gaining more business analyticsal skills which could be applied to variety of industries in business.
