Rishi and I worked together to move Germantown Kitchen Garden’s website from WordPress to SquareUp. The company also needed to improve its Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We created the new website in SquareUp making some improvements and adding some new suggestions. Rishi and I meet up several times to talk about what we have worked on and to brainstorm ideas to solve problems we encountered with the process of moving the website to the new platform. We added more effective call to action content, and also added SEO to the whole website by using the help of an online free SEO keyword generator. We also taught the customer how to add SEO to images and products she has in the website, so she could keep adding SEO to everything in her own speed. We learned how to export and import data from one website to another, encounter issues doing so but also found ways to solve those problems. We learned about how important is to keep constant communication with the client and to not be afraid of asking all the questions needed to succeed in a project. This was a great experience and at the end we were able to successfully complete the project.
