Welfome to my E-Portfolio!

My name is Alan Divver. I am a MIS and RMI double major from Horsham, PA which is an hour north of Philadelphia. I am part of the Fox Honors and Temple University Honors programs and have received a Presidential Scholarship from Temple University.

In addition to my school work, I am also a member of three Student Professional Organizations: Association for Information Systems (AIS), Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) and Business Honors Student Association (BHSA). I take part in these organizations by attending meetings and workshops, as well as serving on the Fundraising Committee (BHSA) and the Community Affairs Committee (GIS).

I also serve as the Allocations Committee co-chair for Temple Student Government (TSG). The TSG Allocations Committee helps student organizations to fund their events by providing them with money to pay for supplies, locations, speakers, food and more. As the Allocations Committee co-chair, my job is to approve or deny student applications based on whether or not they follow the guidelines designed by my co-chair and I. This year, we have $130,000 to allocate to student organizations, the highest total we have ever received for these purposes.

Finally, outside of Temple, I work at the Academy of Adult Learning (AAL) as a mentor. At the AAL, I worked with students who have disabilities and help them become involved in Temple’s diverse campus lifestyle as well as assisting them in meeting their personal and professional goals.

This past Summer, I studied abroad in Tokyo, Japan and completed an internship with i3Design, a mid-sized Japanese technology firm, helping them to promote their code-selling website This experience made me eager to pursue more opportunities that are outside of my normal realm of experience and give me a chance to learn.

Please feel free to look around my portfolio further and look at my resume. If you have any questions, advice or opportunities, don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for visiting and have a nice day!
