The State of IT Today
This is a webinar put on by the IBIT and hosted by Munir Mandviwalla on April 27th at 12pm. The panelists who spoke were Sondra Barbour, Himesh Bhise, Larry Dignan, and George Llado. The panelists discussed how this pandemic has created an even greater need for IT than ever before, due to people not being able to do things in person. This webinar helped me learn more about what this pandemic is doing to real companies from the perspective of someone who works in IT within these companies, rather than just reading something online. This activity relates to my coursework and career goals because I will soon be entering the workforce so this is very relevant for a few months from now when I start my new job.
