Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Dinesh Desai on 10/19 at Noon (IBIT)
This fireside chat was held by the Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT). The Chat was on 10/19 over Zoom. Dinesh Desai is the Executive Chairman and Founder of Emtec Inc which is an IT Service Management company. He was able to give us some really good and in-depth industry analysis on business trends particularly as they pertain to the cloud and impending AI transformations. We talked a lot about how clients are stuck in legacy systems and do not necessarily always have the propensity to switch from these systems to new cloud technologies, despite their high benefits. This activity relates to my coursework and more broadly my career because I am not only interested in cloud transformation but also how AI will change the landscape of business across industries.
