The presented webinar titled “Potential Career Paths for IT Auditors” held on March 19, 2020 presented information of the role and future opportunities of an IT Auditor. Members of the Chubb Corporation’s IT auditing team discussed the importance of the auditor as they explained their daily objectives and internal process from developing kickoffs and analyzing reports. As presented the IT Auditor’s role varies greatly depending on the demands of industry as the position may offer opportunities from information security to IT compliance. Chubb’s auditing team expressed that for an individual to continue within this role they must acquire the want to expand their knowledge by obtaining additional licensing and certifications in order to meet the requirements of industry.
