Intro to Third-Party Risk Management
I attended a virtual webinar on Zoom with Nelson Knight from Ernst & Young (EY) who talked about Third Part Risk Management. I understood the importance of risk management before but had difficulty recognizing where it may be applicable to proactively mitigate it. Furthermore, the variety lf of risk explained by Nelson expanded my knowledge of the many different ways risk is dynamically handled. From Digital risk and Cyber risk to Reputational risk and Geopolitical risk, companies must constantly be assessing and monitoring third-party risk. As a future Management Consultant who will be implementing digital solutions, I will want to make sure I complete my due diligence on the possible risk profiling and assessments that must take place.
