Information Assurance Intern
In the Summer of 2018, I worked at Penn Medicine on the Information Security team as a Information Assurance Intern. Located at 3025 Market Street, Penn Medicine is ranked in Forbes top 10 places to work in the United States. My roles this summer was to Assist the Information Assurance team with Vendor Assessments, VPN exceptions reviews and Phishing campaigns. A project that I was tasked with was to create a dashboard using Palo Alto’s API to run reports on risky users. What I learned from this internship was that there is more sides to Cyber Security than just the technical aspect. After this internship, I found out that cyber security is a right fit for me.
