ITACS Webinar: 2024 Cyber Threat Intelligence Trends and Predictions
The webinar by Thu Nguyen discussed current cyber threat intelligence trends and predictions as to how they will affect us in 2024. One example was geopolitical hacktivism, which is currently being used during the Israeli-Palestinian War since there is a lack of international enforcement agreements on cyber law. Predictions included espionage operations increase in countries such as China and Iran due to increased interest in our country’s national security infrastructure. At the end of the presentation, the presenter provided helpful tips on avoiding social engineering tactics to gain personal information including the Zero Trust model on an individual level.
