This was about the advantages and disadvantages of zero trust in a network. It also covers some basic concepts of designing zero trust systems, however it doesn\\\’t get very technical and is more of a conceptual discussion. This topic is HIGHLY relevant as work from home becomes much more common post-COVID. It makes the (virtually irrefutable) argument that explicit identity based trust is a necessary component of security strategies going forward. As someone with the ultimate goal to create a small business for infosec auditing, this is vital information to know about to stay relevant by the time I graduate.
