Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity
The LinkedIn Learning course “Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity”, sponsored by Temple University, taught me all the ways in which AI truly impacts cybersecurity. One thing I learned is how intelligent agents are used to intertwine cybersecurity with AI and create endless possibilities of uses. I also learned how to apply machine learning to cybersecurity through security anomaly detection and prediction of possible future events based on current data. I was also made greatly aware of the risks associated with using AI and ML for cybersecurity. Such as the fact that attackers use AI too; and how AI and ML don’t have domain knowledge which could potentially produce irrelevant or incorrect results when using fundamental constraints or business logic. Overall, this course was highly educational in raising my awareness and intelligence of both the benefits and risks of using AI and ML for cybersecurity.
