NET/WORK Suburbs 2018
I visited the Turn5 corporate office for the Net/Work Suburbs 2018 hosted by Technically Philly. While the location was further out of Philadelphia that I expected, I had to get a friend that was able to drive me. When we reached the location, we automatically got in line to get our resumes critiqued and joined the line to get our professional portraits. Next, we networked around with different companies in the building, namely, Oracle, Deacom, Cerner, and Vanguard. It was great practice for improving our networking skills and we learned about the opportunities those companies offered that we will pursue in the future. It was interesting, but we did not stick around late and left around 6:30pm.
