AIS Mentorship Program
This semester I participated in Temple University’s AIS mentorship program as an underclassman mentee. My mentor this semester was Shreya Mohan, an amazingly accomplished junior MIS major. It was a wonderful experience as a sophomore who was looking for an internship opportunity. Shreya helped me a lot with resume building and choosing my courses for Spring 2020. I was very conflicted about my minor and what MIS courses to take, but she provided me a lot of guidance on that. She also gave me crucial advice on internship application time, and it helped me get an internship at Cigna for summer 2020! She was very open to questions about work-life balance, academic life, and how to make the most of my Temple experience. It was a great experience that helped me grow personally and professionally, so I highly recommend students to join the program next semester.
